About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join United Living as an Electrical Installation Specialist, working on a variety of projects across the UK water sector. As a key member of our multi-skilled and mobile site team, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects, as well as overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from commencement to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installation and refurbishment works on existing water company sites in accordance with project requirements and programme.
- Work on client sites across the region, including sites that convey sewage and drinking water, and comply with necessary hygiene standards.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, if required.
- Undertake and supervise various electrical installations and refurbishment projects.
- Inspection and testing of electrical systems to troubleshoot problems and verify installations.
- Completion of required paperwork to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully, accurately, and timely.
- Utilize design drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
- Survey electrical systems and plans.
- Supervision and management of installation team with associated responsibility for all site health and safety compliance.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience of electrical installation and supervision, ideally in the UK water sector.
- Good communication, team working, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and implement electrical drawings and instructions.
- Fully qualified electrical fitter (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- 2391 Test and Inspection preferable.
- Positive 'can do' attitude with flexible approach to work.
- Driving licence (full, clean).
