Production Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hales Group. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for completing complex electrical wiring, assembling systems and sub-components, and using electronics testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpreting electronics schematic diagrams and completing complex electrical wiring.
  2. Assembling systems, sub-components, and panel wiring with precision.
  3. Using electronics testing equipment to ensure quality and accuracy.
  4. Generating technical reports and contributing to build and test improvements.
  5. Testing, fault finding, and repairing modules and complex printed circuit boards down to component level.
  6. Working safely with equipment that may involve potentially lethal voltages.
Requirements:
  1. A qualified engineer with a background in a relevant discipline.
  2. Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role is essential.
  3. Strong understanding of complex electrical wiring and electronics schematics.
  4. Competent in the use of electronics testing equipment.
  5. Proven ability to test, fault find, and repair at a detailed level.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to make confident, objective decisions.
  7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
