Salary: £12.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Wallacewell Gate, a supported living service supporting two gentlemen with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals to promote independence and develop life skills, including personal care, cooking, and cleaning.
- Administer and prompt medication as required.
- Accompany individuals to appointments and engage in activities to promote socialization and a fulfilled life.
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to work long days and sleepover shifts.
- Driver with a clean license is highly advantageous.
What We Offer:
- A minimum of 28 days paid holiday per year, including bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff).
- Accredited training to develop skills and knowledge.

- Mileage paid at 35p per mile up to 10,000 miles per year.
