The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to chair the Financial Services Consumer Panel. The Panel plays a critical role in providing an independent consumer perspective and acting as a 'critical friend' to the FCA on its policies and practices.

The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction and development of the Panel, ensuring the voice of the consumer is heard across all of society, especially those with vulnerable characteristics. They will work closely with the FCA to influence the development of financial services policy and regulation, with a focus on making markets work well for consumers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to contribute to decision-making and regulatory outcomes that have significant real-world impacts on consumers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services sector and a proven track record of working with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction and development of the Panel
