Production Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Mechanic to join our team at Optima UK Inc Ltd. As a key member of the Production Team, you will support the build and retrofit of CNC and automated machine systems. Your responsibilities will include building and assembling CNC machines, aligning ball screws and linear rails, and disassembling machines. You will also work from engineering drawings to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations. To succeed in this role, you will need experience of assembling mechanical assemblies related to CNC machine tools, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or pressure-based fluid systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understanding dimensions and geometric tolerances is essential. While hand scraping experience is desirable, it is not mandatory. The compensation package for this position includes a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits such as a permanent position, bonus scheme, free onsite parking, and company pension.
