About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Hull Maintenance team at AAK International. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant and equipment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring QSHE compliance to maintenance schedules
  • Maintaining customer service by ensuring improved equipment availability through maintenance and OEE improvement projects
  • Supporting and mentoring the operator team with maintenance and continuous improvement technical expertise
  • Ensuring detailed records are maintained of equipment failures
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working with the team, engaging with others, and being visible within your area of responsibility

We are looking for an individual with a high degree of technical capability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should have experience working in a multi-skilled engineering position and be able to manage and prioritize workloads.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong problem-solving ability, excellent attention to detail, and a strong team player who can work well on their own initiative. If you have experience in mentoring, that would be an added advantage.
