Senior Microsoft Security Architect

Hawksworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Security Architect to join our team. As a senior post, we require a candidate with significant tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/Cloyd security, Azure, M365 environments, and Microsoft Defender. They will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the secure design, implementation, and development of our M365 environment.

The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will develop and implement policies to ensure the security and availability of our M365 applications. They will lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies and act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft security suite.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in Azure cloud technology and migration, as well as a strong understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles.

The successful candidate will have a Computer Science Bachelor's degree and good demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. They will also have experience with AWS and/or Google cloud platforms, as well as a strong understanding of CASB, CSPM, and IAM.

We are looking for a leader who can not only provide technical expertise but also lead the security team and other technical teams in the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a secure M365 environment
  • Lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft security suite
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure security and availability of M365 applications
  • Provide technical expertise in secure design, implementation, and development of M365 environment

Requirements:

  • Significant tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect
  • Strong background in IT/Cloyd security, Azure, M365 environments, and Microsoft Defender
  • Experience in Azure cloud technology and migration
