Job Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated Production Assistant to join our busy and thriving Creative Services team at DMS. In this role, you will be responsible for essential administrative and operational tasks that facilitate the smooth running of production in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Handling day-to-day production paperwork, such as release forms, calendars, and timesheets, and ensuring all production trackers are up to date.
  2. Liaising with third-party vendors, suppliers, and freelancers, and setting them up in our systems.
  3. Managing and keeping a record of production expenses.
  4. Supporting pre-production with research and booking of travel, transport, couriers, and accommodation ahead of shoots.
  5. Aiding production on shoots: wrangling members of the public, handling signage, sharing information with clients and crew, helping transport equipment, and supporting with set-up and wrap-up.
  6. Processing and managing invoices, and aiding the team with fundamental billing tasks.
  7. Supporting the creative team when necessary with content TV/Radio clearances and talent bookings.
  8. Contributing to creative brainstorms and pitches with research, ideas, and minutes.
  9. Producing reports on work delivered and contributing to company decks.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • A quick learner with a strong passion for the entertainment industry.
  • Some administrative experience.
  • Demonstrable, strong organisational skills and an ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Computer proficient (MS Office, excellent Excel skills).
  • Professional, proactive, and with a collaborative nature.
  • An excellent communicator with an eye for detail.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated, with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Flexible to work long hours and weekends where necessary due to filming schedules.
