As a Conference and Event Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to drive new exhibition business and retain existing accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Commercial Sales Manager and Director to develop and implement a sales strategy
  • Managing the conference and event proposal procedure to ensure commercially sound deals
  • Supporting the Head of Events and Sales team members through effective communication and process implementation
  • Collaborating with the ExCeL Sales teams to raise the profile of the company with existing and new clients

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a conferencing, hospitality, catering, or food service industry
  • Previous hospitality, sales, and account management experience required
  • Familiarity with food and beverage trends and industry awareness
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good self-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Computer literate and confident in Excel, Word, and Outlook
