Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Practitioner to join our team at New River Health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting surgery consultations, and managing their own workload and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting surgery consultations and telephone/video consultations
  • Managing paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
  • Making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems
  • Assessing patient health care needs and developing care plans
  • Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes
  • Contributing to QOF and PCN requirements
  • Compiling and issuing computer-generated prescriptions

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage workload and resources effectively
