Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at Kestrel HR. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, designing and developing new menu items, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
About the Role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Design and develop new menu items that are innovative, delicious, and appealing to our customers.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with our events team to design and execute full events menus for corporate events, weddings, and other functions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a similar environment.
- Proven track record of menu development and kitchen management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
