Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Energy & Emissions Manager in the provision of energy transition services to our clients.
About the Role:
This is a senior position that requires a strong background in environmental science or engineering, with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and delivery of climate change and energy transition commitments for our clients
- Leading performance reporting and assurance in line with regulatory requirements and targets
- Engaging with stakeholders, including industry partners and regulatory bodies
- Providing input and advice on asset lifecycle energy transition requirements and considerations
- Coordinating and determining greenhouse gas emissions forecasts to inform net-zero strategies
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree in environmental science or engineering, with extensive industry experience
- Membership of a professional body, with ongoing CPD and working towards Chartered status
- Experience working in a team with oil and gas operating assets, wells, and project developments
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across the business and HSES team
