Sellick Partnership is working with a leading Consultancy to recruit an Actuarial Consultant or Senior Consultant for their Risk Transfer team. This team has established a strong market presence and a promising pipeline of work.

The Actuarial Consultant or Senior Consultant role involves working on a variety of transactions, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, and longevity swaps. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, such as Insurers and Re-Insurers, and have opportunities to become a lead advisor on Risk Transfer activity.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Actuary or someone qualified by experience. Prior experience in the Risk Transfer market from a Consultancy or Insurance perspective is preferred. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a balance between office and home-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a range of transactions, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, and longevity swaps
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Insurers and Re-Insurers
  • Develop expertise in Risk Transfer and become a lead advisor on Risk Transfer activity
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Actuary or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in the Risk Transfer market from a Consultancy or Insurance perspective
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
