About the Role:

This key position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our innovative Rider Working Model, which is instrumental in delivering on our promises to consumers, partners, riders, and shareholders. As a highly visible and impactful role, you will have ample opportunities to drive significant change within the company.

You will be responsible for crafting a compelling proposition for riders to partner with Deliveroo, developing a 3-year vision for this domain that aligns with our strategic objectives while catering to the evolving needs of our riders and market trends.

  • Collaborate with Operations to devise and implement a rider engagement and retention strategy, utilizing data insights to introduce features that enhance the rider experience.
  • Take a rider-centric approach to define the online and offline rider journey within the app, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and satisfying experience.
  • Work closely with the Rider Onboarding, Rider Compliance, and Rider Incentives teams to ensure a unified product strategy across these areas.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of the Rider Platform, focusing on reliability, usability, and extensibility.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned product manager with exceptional customer empathy and creativity.
  • Someone passionate about creating exceptional experiences for end-users, driven by a strong desire to learn about their needs.
  • Strong product vision and strategy skills to articulate a compelling vision for the rider proposition, driving alignment across the organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills, capable of leveraging data insights to inform product decisions and measure initiative impact.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with building and maintaining services for backend systems and platform applications.
  • Understanding of compliance and fraud prevention initiatives within the context of platform applications.
