School Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Custodian to join our team at NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school premises.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are clean, tidy, and safe for students, staff, and visitors. You will also be involved in developing and implementing effective cleaning schedules to optimize results.

• Clean and maintain all areas of the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and efficiently.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.

This role requires working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time plus 2 weeks. The estimated annual salary is approximately £31,500 based on 52 weeks of work.
