About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Coding Instructor to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps.

">

The successful candidate will have a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills and experience in teaching or delivering coding or IT activities.

">

As a member of our tech team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding, structured technology and coding activities to small groups of 8- to 14-year-olds on our Ultimate Tech Camps.

">

You will work closely with the Ultimate Tech Leader and Camp Manager to provide a safe and engaging environment for our campers.

">

Responsibilities:

">
  • Delivery of Activities: Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 8-14, focusing on participation, skills and enjoyment.">
  • Pastoral Care: Take a pastoral role as a group leader, welcoming new children into your group and liaising with the Camp Manager and/or parents as necessary.">
  • Safeguarding: Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.">

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field.">
  • Experience in teaching or delivering coding or IT activities to children aged 8-14.">
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.">
  • A passion for technology and education.">
">

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.

">

Benefits: Paid pre-camp training programme, subsidised First Aid qualifications and CPD opportunities, competitive pay with progression opportunities.

">

Our Ultimate Tech Instructors can expect to earn approximately £25,000 for the duration of the summer season, based on a 4-week contract.
