About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Policy Manager to lead on policy development, analysis, and stakeholder engagement with the UK Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing clear end-to-end regulatory policies and standards for the registration of international professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and standards for international registration
  • Manage complex registration casework, providing advice to internal and external colleagues on legal and policy issues
  • Lead on policy analysis and engagement, ensuring awareness of external issues affecting the organization
  • Collaborate with healthcare bodies to conduct policy analysis and project manage policy consultations
  • Represent the organization at external events and meetings
Requirements
  • Extensive policy development experience in the healthcare and regulatory space
  • Good understanding of good regulation principles in the UK and their application to policy development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant experience in preparing high-quality policy documents, including position papers, reports, and final documents for senior committees and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of legal principles (desirable)
