About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Care Assistants and supporting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants to ensure excellent resident care.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide specific support in areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, and care reviews.
  • Maintain the dignity and preferences of residents by providing person-centred care.
  • Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment that promotes resident well-being.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
  • Demonstrated warmth, compassion, and commitment to individualised care and support.
