Social housing properties require regular maintenance and repairs to ensure they remain safe and well-maintained. As a Maintenance Electrician at Skilled Careers, you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Expected Salary: $67 per hour

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours

As part of our commitment to supporting our team members, we provide a van and fuel card. Overtime rates apply on Saturdays (time and a half) and Sundays (double time).

This position requires strong electrical skills, experience working in social housing or similar environments, and a valid driver's licence. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct routine maintenance and repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and collaborate with other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections and identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance Electrician.
  • Strong electrical skills and ability to complete other wet trades maintenance repairs.
  • Experience working in social housing or similar environments.
  • 18th Edition (preferred)
  • Valid driver's licence.
