We are seeking freelance translators and interpreters to join our team at Language Empire, providing professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK.

As a freelancer with us, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreting, as well as translation tasks. You will be working with individuals who require language support in legal, health, and local government services.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing accurate and confidential interpreting services for individuals using our services
  • Liaising between service users and providers to ensure effective communication
  • Utilizing your linguistic skills to facilitate smooth interactions in a variety of settings

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Fluent English language skills and proficiency in one or more additional languages
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
