Job Title: IT Support Technician

We are working with a Tech Consultancy to find two SC Cleared 2nd Line Support Engineers to provide BAU Support and Hardware break/fix for one of their clients in Derby.

Key Information:
  • Duration: 6 months with high likelihood of extensions
  • Pay: Circa £170-£180 per day Inside IR35
  • Location: On-site in Derby, 5 days a week
  • Start Date: ASAP
The Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide 2nd line support and hardware break/fix services for our client in Derby. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT service environments, with experience in Dell and Windows technologies.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT service environments
  • Certification in Dell and Windows technologies
  • Ability to provide IT break/fix support and escalate issues as needed
  • Experience with Dell and HP kit, docking stations, keyboards, and mice
  • Windows 10/11 environment
  • MS Outlook and Office 2016
  • Software installation and app support
  • Ability to maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels
