EAL Specialist Support Assistant
Due to the school's commitment to providing an inclusive learning environment for students with English as an Additional Language (EAL), LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled EAL Specialist Support Assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students with EAL needs, implementing individualised learning plans, and monitoring student progress. Strong communication skills are essential for working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to provide regular feedback and achieve desired outcomes.
This rewarding role involves leading targeted interventions to improve language skills, creating a nurturing environment that promotes engagement and language development. The successful applicant will be passionate about supporting students with EAL needs and committed to delivering high-quality support that meets the demands of this challenging yet fulfilling role.
A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent is desirable, along with qualifications in EAL related subjects or TEFL. Bilingual candidates who speak Urdu, Romanian, Punjabi, or Polish may also be considered.
LTF Recruitment Ltd values diversity and encourages applications from qualified candidates who share our vision for providing exceptional support to students with EAL needs.
We estimate that the salary for this position will be approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and dependent on the location in Nottingham (NG3).
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with EAL needs, while developing your skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
