Job Description
The Culinary Care Specialist will be responsible for delivering hotel/restaurant standards in a healthcare setting, without the split shifts and long weeks associated with traditional chef roles. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with fresh seasonal food and create nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus that cater to the needs of our residents. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in creating menus that meet the dietary requirements of our residents, while also providing a warm and welcoming environment within our home.

Necessary Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:
  • A personable and warm approach, with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents.
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team.
  • A good understanding of nutrition.
  • Experience of working with fresh seasonal food.
  • The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home.
  • Good understanding of HACCP.

Rewards Package
This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
