Maths Educator

We are looking for a skilled Maths Educator to join our team at The Wenlock School in Dudley, West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to their academic and personal growth.

The Wenlock School is a co-educational day school catering for pupils aged 7-18 with a range of complex needs. Our curriculum is designed to provide a rich and varied learning experience, and we are committed to raising achievement and enabling our pupils to reach their full potential.

As a Maths Educator, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects, including maths, and working with our students to improve their standards of learning and achievement. You will also contribute to the development of our curriculum and work with our colleagues to ensure that our students receive the best possible education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maths education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. You will also have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, and will be subject to DBS checks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching maths and other subjects to students aged 7-18
• Developing and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments
• Working with colleagues to improve student outcomes and standards of learning and achievement
• Contribute to the development of our curriculum and ensure that it is relevant and engaging for our students
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students

Key qualifications include:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
