Director of Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at Twynham Learning. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our financial strategy and ensuring the effective management of our finances.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with our trust's goals and objectives
  2. Lead and manage our Core Services Finance team, with matrix leadership of our school-based finance teams
  3. Provide financial expertise, advice, and training across our trust, including to Headteachers
  4. Ensure effective financial management of all budgets and excellence in reporting
  5. Be accountable to our Trust Board's Resources and Audit Committees

Requirements

  1. Professional qualification(s) in accountancy
  2. A degree or equivalent graduate qualification
  3. Substantial experience in financial management
  4. Excellent IT, communication, and presentation skills
