HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Driver Hire. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods nationwide, working day shifts and occasional overtime.

Job Specification:
  • Position located in Lincoln
  • 1-5 deliveries per day - locally and nationally
  • General haulage work - delivering pallets and products
  • Monday to Friday on-going work, ad-hoc work also available
  • Start times from 06:00
  • Average working day between 10 hours
Requirements:
  • Valid UK HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 licence
  • Valid CPC card and Tacho card
  • Hi Vis and safety boots
  • Excellent work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • No major points or endorsements on the licence
  • Happy to help attitude
Benefits:
  • Pay rate of £14.75 per hour for the first 8 hours, and £22.12 per hour overtime thereafter
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • Umbrella rates are also available
