About the Role:

This role will support the Underwriting team by performing front-to-end activities throughout the life-cycle of renewal and prospect accounts. Key responsibilities include pre-underwriting, evaluating risk, and assessing completeness of underwriting packages before underwriter review.

  • Pre-Underwriting Activities:
  • Evaluate risk and assess completeness of underwriting packages before underwriter review.
  • Develop initial pricing, basic coverage structuring, quotation, and binder packages on behalf of the Underwriter.
  • Collaborate with Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and internal units to manage task status and workflow.
  • Communicate account status to ensure completion of outstanding subjectivities for policy issuance and premium collection.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or related insurance experience and/or training.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
