Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Specialist to join our team at Aberdeen City Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to assigned pupils and contributing to the professional, corporate life of the school.

About the Role:

The post holder will be required to hold a minimum of:

  • Appropriate teaching qualification
  • Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector, or be eligible for such registration
  • PVG scheme membership – Working with Children

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering quality education to assigned pupils
  • Contributing to the professional, corporate life of the school
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals
