Product Development Technician

Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Technician to join our team. As a Product Development Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Analytical team within the Aerospace, Defence and Marine business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineers with testing requirements
- Perform routine analytical tasks accurately and follow strict methodologies to complete analyses
- Sample preparation – potting, cutting & grinding
- Routine QC FTIR testing
- Support printing and cleaning 3D printed parts
- Wet and dry analytical techniques
- Assist in chemical inventory management including indexing of SDS on MSDSOnline
- General laboratory house keeping
- Participation in training courses
Requirements:
- A Level / BTEC in science or engineering discipline
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Pay attention to detail and accurately record information
- General knowledge of laboratory equipment and usage
- Use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer
- Good record keeping
- Be open and approachable
- Team Player
- Technical by nature and with a practical hands-on approach
- 'Can do' attitude
