Educational Psychologist Leadership Opportunity in Nottingham

We are seeking a professionally qualified Educational Psychologist to lead our team of experts in improving the lives of children and young people in Nottingham City.
About the RoleThe role of Senior Educational Psychologist involves working within a consultative/joint problem-solving framework, applying psychology in creative ways to have a positive impact on young people at both a casework level and at a systemic level.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the team, setting the strategic direction of the EP service, and collaborating with colleagues to drive further change and development.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt their management style to suit individual needs.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
Job Requirements- Professionally qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working within a consultative/joint problem-solving framework
- Ability to apply psychology in creative ways to have a positive impact on young people
- Leadership and management experience
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to drive change and development
The post is based in Nottingham City, where you will work with a culturally vibrant and diverse community.
The EPS is highly regarded by schools and within the wider Local Authority, with a strong traded offer for schools and a majority of schools commissioning EP services.
We use psychology in creative and dynamic ways, particularly valued by schools using Circle of Adults to support inclusion.
