X4 Life Sciences is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team in a short-term contract role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the quality control of components from external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect components using standard measurement tools and visual assessment techniques to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Complete and maintain detailed inspection records to track and analyze inspection results.
- Label and update the inventory management system (SAP) for approved components to ensure accurate tracking and management.
- Quarantine and manage non-conforming components using the Non-Conforming Material Control process to prevent defects and ensure quality.
- Assist in organizing and reconfiguring the inspection and storage areas to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using standard inspection tools and techniques, including visual inspection, measurement, and testing.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, particularly SAP, to ensure accurate tracking and management of components.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
