Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Business Solutions Specialist to provide vital support to our senior solution consultants and the broader analysis and design teams. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be involved in analyzing business opportunities, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting software testing, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis Activities: Analyze existing and future business opportunities for Legado and apply our technology solutions effectively.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Run workshops to elicit requirements and understand business needs, documenting these requirements in the form of Agile Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage communication with various project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and addressed.
  • Manual Testing Support: Support and collaborate with the test team on test activities to validate software solutions, ensuring they meet documented requirements and quality standards.
  • Agile Methodology Support: Help manage the product backlog, collaborate with design teams to formulate user stories, and provide support to the development team during the delivery phase.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior solution consultants, technical teams, and external partners to support successful project delivery.
  • Azure DevOps Environment: Gain hands-on experience working within the Microsoft Azure DevOps environment to support project management and development activities.
  • Agile Practices: Support the facilitation of daily standups, sprint planning sessions, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with analysis techniques and methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement in team processes and ways of working.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrated interest in business analysis, with some experience or understanding of project management principles.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with a strong drive, eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work on multiple projects at the same time, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to step in and support other teams, such as testing, when needed, showing a flexible and team-oriented approach to achieving project goals.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience
  • MSc / BSc in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience or academic knowledge in IT systems functional analysis, preferably within tech or digital financial services.
  • Experience in engaging and communicating with different project stakeholders.
  • Willingness to support IT teams during testing, delivery, and deployment of software solutions.
  • 2+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
