This is an exciting opportunity to join the BBC as a Broadcast Systems Engineer Apprentice in Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our broadcast facilities, including TV and Radio Production networks, systems, and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with our central Technology Operations or Systems teams to provide broadcast, distribution, and production technology support
- Support TV and Radio Production networks, systems, and devices behind our flagship services
- Develop and maintain the media production and broadcasting technologies and systems
What You Will Learn
You will study for your industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification alongside a degree in Broadcast & Communications Engineering, learning both on and off the job. This involves blended learning through online and face-to-face teaching blocks at Birmingham City University, including:
- Audio and Vision Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- IP Networks
- Computer Science
- Broadcast Technology
- Database Technology
- Engineering Mathematics
