Senior HSEQ Manager Role Overview

The Senior HSEQ Manager will provide operational oversight, mentor HSEQ teams, and deliver targeted safety initiatives across sites, working closely with stakeholders to embed 'think safe, work safe, home safe' principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of HSEQ strategies, aligning with Defence objectives.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance, driving audit and documentation processes.
  • Enhance operational safety standards through training, reporting, and risk management.
  • Oversee incident management, conducting root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster strong partnerships and proactive risk management.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: Level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety, IOSH/IIRSM membership, Lead Auditor qualification.

Experience: Proven experience in HSEQ management within Defence, Construction, or related fields, ideally with expertise in regulatory compliance and behavioural safety.

Salary and Benefits:

£62,000 - £67,000 per annum, plus company car, bonus potential up to 10%, private medical insurance, and 6% pension contribution.
