Job Opportunity: Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a specialist residential service based in the Stroud, Gloucestershire area.

About the Role

This is a specialist residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young people and young adults (aged suffering from eating disorders and other associated complex mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Working collaboratively within a team to provide high-quality care to patients
  2. Assisting and supporting staff in the management of eating disorders and other complex mental health needs
  3. Conducting patient assessments, planning, and evaluation to ensure effective care delivery
  4. Delivering individual and group sessions to support patient recovery
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  1. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
  2. Patient-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  3. Excellent decision-making skills and organizational capability
  4. Effective communication skills and flexibility

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £17,224. This exciting position is a permanent part-time role working 15 hours a week.
