The estimated salary for this role is between £17,430 - £24,387 per annum, depending on the number of days worked per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Adoption Social Worker to join our team. As a social worker in our Children Looked After Teams, you will work with children from 0 to 18 years of age whose care plan is to achieve permanency via adoption or long-term care.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of the child/young person at all times.
  2. Manage an independent workload, ensuring legislative requirements are met to a high standard.
  3. Assess, analyse, plan, and implement suitable interventions for complex cases that fulfil statutory regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable post-qualifying experience as a social worker working with children and families
  • Social Work England Registered
  • DBS Check
  • Knowledge and application of the legal framework and assessment process in Children's Social Care
