About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda. As an Optometrist with Asda, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that prioritizes patient care and delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Completing eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations to the highest standards
  
• Working alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards
  
• Delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions, with support to gain additional accreditations as needed
  
• Participating in our CPD programme and completing further accreditations, funded by Asda, to enhance your skills and meet the ever-changing eye care needs of our customers
  
• Fostering positive relationships within our team and the wider community, while contributing to excellent service levels and creating a memorable experience for our customers

Requirements

• 
  
• A fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
  
• A registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
  
• MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda, funded and supported by us)
  
• On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
