Job Opportunity for Experienced Painter and Decorator
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Glenholme as an Experienced Painter and Decorator. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage
- Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain your tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with different types of paints and finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
