Job Title: Perinatal Mental Health Care Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Perinatal Mental Health Care Coordinator to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the delivery of high-quality perinatal mental health services to women experiencing moderate to severe mental health conditions during pregnancy and postpartum.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of appointments and consultations for perinatal mental health services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, tracking patient progress and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding of care plans and interventions.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and local authorities to strengthen partnerships and improve service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field, along with extensive experience in perinatal mental health services.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including women, their partners, and healthcare professionals.
  • A keen interest in professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in perinatal mental health.
