At SIG Plc., we are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods within the M25 and Central London areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver goods to customers on time, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation, including vehicle maintenance and load documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 driving license.
  • Hiab Certification (advantageous but not essential).
  • Valid and up-to-date CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
  • Experience in multi-drop driving for a delivery or distribution company.
  • Experience driving in the M25 and Central London areas.
  • Friendly, professional manner and dedication to excellent customer service.
