Job Title: Warehouse/Contracts Supervisor

ACS Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse/Contracts Supervisor to lead a warehouse team and deliver outstanding operational services to our clients' customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Assist managers and supervisors, train, develop, and motivate staff to achieve business improvements.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all staff operate within current legislation, maintain a safe working environment, and produce regular reports on operational performance.
  • Contract Management: Collaborate with Contract Managers to ensure health and safety management best practices are applied.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage staff productivity, accuracy, and performance, taking action as required.
  • Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Personal Development: Support personal development across contracts within the framework of job descriptions and competency skills matrix.
  • Coverage: Cover for the Contract Manager during specified periods, including holidays and sickness.
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with ISO accredited standards and environmental policies.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse Management Systems: Experienced in Warehouse Management Systems and warehouse operations.
  • People Management: Significant people management experience, ideally at a supervisor level within a supply chain environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to improving service quality.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Customer Service: Positive attitude towards customer service and a commitment to safety.
  • Qualifications: ILM Level 2 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent), or willing to study for this qualification – desirable.
  • Driving Licence: Full clean driving licence.
  • MHE Certifications: MHE certifications (Desirable): Pivot Steer, Counterbalance, PPT.
