Overview
GLG Vets is a vibrant and growing veterinary practice seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Specialist to join our team in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

About the Role
Salary: £42,500 per year
Working Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Requirements
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
