Roofers Mate Job Description

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a skilled Roofers Mate to join their Responsive team in West Lancashire. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with social housing partners to deliver high-quality roofing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repair and renewal roofing works to the highest standards.
  • Communicate effectively with schedulers, residents, and line managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of the roofing trade.
  • Collaborate with other operatives to complete repairs when required.
  • Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job, via a PDA.
Requirements:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a willingness to learn. To be successful in this role, you will be an effective communicator with strong problem-solving and multitasking skills. A driving license is essential.

This is a full-time/flexible, permanent role with a salary of £24k + van and benefits.
