**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dietetic Specialist, providing expert dietetic support and advice to adults with enteral tubes in situ across Cornwall.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent, with Health Professions Council (HPC) Registration as a Dietitian. A strong background in delivering dietetic services in the community, particularly in working with clients with learning disabilities, is essential.

Main Responsibilities

  • Complete face-to-face, telephone, or virtual assessments to gather nutritional information for individual patients
  • Develop and implement suitable feeding regimens, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, including feed company nurses, to ensure seamless communication and care
  • Work effectively within teams and independently to provide a streamlined service that meets NHS standards

Requirements

  • Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent
  • HPC Registration as a Dietitian
  • Experience in delivering dietetic services in the community
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Driver's license and ability to travel between sites
