Job Title: Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team at Tulloch Recruitment. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring a cohesive and aligned approach to procurement across our clients' group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with the company's global vision of best practice and market leadership.
  • Procurement Process: Source and supply goods/services in line with client KPIs, achieve targets through gainshare/baseline models, and negotiate discounts to enhance profit.
  • Financial Control: Assist the credit controller in resolving client and supplier invoice queries in a timely manner.
  • Customer Focus: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, attend internal marketing meetings, and participate in client meetings to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • QHSE: Familiarize yourself with CI's policies and procedures relating to Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards, and contribute to the company's targets on recycling and energy-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of procurement experience
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems, including Excel, Crystal Reports, Dynamics GP, and Management Databases
  • MRO product knowledge
