As a Workshop Operations Coordinator at Gregory Distribution, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet workshops. Your primary responsibilities will include booking out time for each job, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to our workshop office staff. You will also be responsible for carrying out minor defect repairs and component replacements, as well as organizing workshop parking and maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of workshop operations, and the ability to work well under pressure. A UK Class 1 CE Licence, current DCPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Driver Card are also essential qualifications for this role. Additionally, previous hands-on experience in defect rectification and vehicle systems knowledge is highly desirable.
Our company offers a competitive salary of approximately £36,714 per annum, with overtime available and paid hourly. We also offer a range of benefits, including an additional holiday purchasing scheme, retail discounts with Hapi, and wellbeing support through Retail Trust.
