BAM Nuttall is seeking a seasoned Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of large civil engineering projects in Scotland. As a key member of the project team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe execution of pre-construction and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards, effectively mitigating potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement robust health and safety policies and procedures, aligning with company goals.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, providing expert guidance on hazard mitigation and control measures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on health and safety performance, highlighting areas for improvement.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 per annum, based on experience and location in Scotland.

Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as health and safety, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional membership of a relevant institution, showcasing your commitment to the profession.
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry, with a focus on risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with project teams.
