Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Reactive Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a key member of our reactive maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying or a similar field, with experience in cost estimation, procurement, and contract management. They will be proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, valuations, and budgets for reactive maintenance projects.
  • Monitor and track project costs, ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Assist in procuring contractors and suppliers, manage quotes, and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Process payments, applications for payment, and variations.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a similar field (or working towards it).
  • Experience in a similar role within the social housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
