About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient transport services to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities, providing a high level of care and attention to their needs.
  • Assist in the transportation of patients with challenging behavior and/or mental health illnesses, requiring a calm and empathetic approach.
  • Ensure the ambulance is kept safe, clean, and tidy, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a seamless patient transport experience, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care and transport.
Requirements
  • Committed to providing exceptional patient care and a high level of customer service.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Hold a full UK driving license and have a good degree of physical fitness.
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check and undergo regular training to maintain your certification.
  • Be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
