Job Title: Head of Reward

Job Description:

We are partnering with a high-growth, fast-paced business to secure a commercial Senior Reward Professional. This is an exciting time to join the business, which has recently appointed senior C-suite individuals, including the CPO, to drive expansion across the UK.

The business has grown quickly by prioritizing its customers and ensuring employees think about them before anything else. The next stage in this journey is to develop a People strategy that delivers results quickly.

As a hybrid role with a presence required in the Leeds office at least two days a week, you will be a core member of the People Leadership team and wider leadership group across the business. You will be a reward expert who can set up and lead a high-performing Reward function, covering all aspects of Compensation and Benefits for all levels of employees.

Your role will include:

  • Initial review and analysis of the business to assess requirements and propose a plan for execution.
  • Providing strategic direction by developing reward, recognition, and benefits strategies to ensure best practices and alignment with the group's strategic objectives.
  • Acting as the cornerstone for the CPO, supplying crucial data, analytics, and insights necessary to make informed decisions that shape the business.
  • Maintaining a competitive edge by bringing up-to-date industry knowledge and market trends and applying a strategic and creative lens to attract and retain staff and ensure a competitive offering for all roles in all markets.
  • Reviewing and updating the benefits package and actively collecting and reviewing employee feedback.
  • Engaging stakeholders by collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders to translate concepts into implementation.

We are looking for a thoughtful and proactive leader who is a leadership role model with proven experience in all areas of reward functions, from start-up through to growth models. You will have in-depth expertise in core reward processes, including equity, executive remuneration, salary review, benchmarks, benefits, and incentive schemes across multiple business units.

You will have exceptional analytical skills, the ability to draw and communicate insights from data and analysis, and the ability to deliver highly complex projects in expedited timeframes. You will have a practical 'hands-on' approach to reward and be happy to roll up your sleeves, particularly in the initial stages. You will need to work at pace with strong attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.

You will have exceptional interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable with ambiguity and an ever-changing environment. If this sounds like your type of role, we would love to hear from you.
